Miss Zahra Safaryazdi
Biography
I am a third year PhD student at the department of psychology, Goldsmiths University of London. I have got my MPhil from the department of psychiatry, University of Cambridge. In my studies my focus is on people with different substance use such as alcohol, cannabis and nicotine to find out why people with higher ADHD symptoms (inattention and hyperactivity/Impulsivity) use higher amount of substance in compare to general population. To have a better understanding of people with substance use and the ones with ADHD symptoms I focused on the role of impulsivity, executive functions, emotional regulation, mood disorders and sleep disorders in the relationship between substance use and ADHD symptoms in my studies.
