Biography
I am a Clinical Lecturer working in Academic Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Sheffield. My current clinical placement since November 2007 is as an honorary specialist registrar at Rotherham Drug and Alcohol Services.
I am doing a Phd in neural correlates of negative symptoms in schizophrenia mainly involving structural and functional neuroimaging methods. Early next year I will be obtaining the CCT in general adult psychiatry with endorsement in substance misuse specialty. Ultimately I would like to pursue a career as a Substance Misuse Consultant. In addition to establishing an excellent standard of clinical service, I am very keen on applying neuroimaging techniques to study of addictive behaviours.
