Miss Sophia Chambers

I am a final year PhD student at the University of Southampton. My current research uses mixed methods to explore factors influencing outcomes for patients who attend to hospital with alcohol use disorders (AUD). With a long-standing interest in mental health and addiction, I have experience working in secure psychiatric hospitals for both adults and children, and in prison settings. More recently, I worked as a Recovery Worker for Turning Point in a community drug and alcohol service. I graduated from Cardiff University in 2013, obtaining the British Psychological Society’s undergraduate award for my degree in BSc Psychology.
