Biography
Cristina Expósito-Álvarez is a PhD candidate working as a researcher in training at the University of Valencia (Spain) under the supervision of Professors Marisol Lila and Enrique Gracia. She is also part of Programa Contexto, a research and psychosocial intervention programme for intimate partner violence (IPV) perpetrators. Her research has focused on men with substance use court-mandated to attend intervention programmes for IPV perpetrators. She has a particular interest in identifying risk factors of IPV perpetrators with substance use. She is doing a research stay supervised by Professor Gail Gilchrist, at the National Addiction Centre, King’s College London.
