Biography
Consultant Addiction Psychiatrist, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
Donna trained in Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, graduating in 1998. She undertook core training in Psychiatry in West of Scotland and worked as a Staff Grade Psychiatrist in Substance Misuse in Glasgow 2006-2009 before returning to training and completing this in 2013. She worked as Consultant Psychiatrist for Alcohol Related Brain Damage in Glasgow before moving to her current post of Consultant in Addictions for West Dumbarton. She completed the Diploma in Group work Practice at Group Analysis North in July 2014. She has special interests in psychotherapeutic interventions for substance misuse and in substance misuse with co-morbid personality disorder.
