Dr Indiresh Anand

Biography

I am a Specialist Registrar in Substance Misuse Psychiatry (ST5) working with Dr Christos Kouimtsidis (Consultant Psychiatrist) at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust. I am doing a dual training in Old Age Psychiatry and General Adult Psychiatry with a year of substance misuse psychiatry included in the training. My area of special interest is substance misuse psychiatry in people aged above 65 years. Currently I am involved in projects to evaluate relapse prevention group therapy and a clinical audit to evaluate alcohol and substance misuse in people aged above 65. Also, I am studying Masters in Dementia Studies (MSc) at Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
