My background is in psychopharmacology, with a particular interest in cognitive enhancement, perceived risks of drug use and the relative risks and potential for dependency of e-cigarettes as compared to tobacco. The data presented here utilised eye movement tracking to explore attentional allocation to warning labels on e-cigarette packaging and ongoing projects include studies on risk perceptions of drug use, effects of nicotine on non-drug related rewards, social influences on vaping in teenagers and perceived benefits of micro-dosing with psychedelics.
