Dr Nour Alhusein
Biography
Nour Husn is a pharmacist. She is a research associate at the University of Bath. She is currently looking at designing a service led by community pharmacists to provide women who receive opiate substitution treatment with pregnancy and contraception advice funded by MRC. This is her second post-doctoral research. Her first post-doctoral project looked at developing an effective filter to prevent infection in injecting drug users funded by MRC – CiC. Nour is interested in developing new strategies to diagnose, kill biofilms and the medical care around the anti-biofilms treatments.
