My educational background is Master of Public Health which I graduated from in 2009, and I completed my PhD studies in the Department of Psychology at University of Southern Denmark.
Currently I work as a post-doc researcher at the Unit of Clinical Alcohol Research (UCAR) at University of Southern Denmark. My post-doc project aims to investigate barriers to treatment among alcohol dependent individuals using a qualitative approach. Alongside doing research I follow a course in teaching at the university as a part of becoming qualified as an associate professor in the future.
My broader research interests lie in the areas of health promotion, health behavior and addictions, conducted as both intervention studies and in depth qualitative studies.
