Biography

Dr Wendy Masterton is a Lecturer in Criminology (specialising in Substance Use) at the University of Stirling. She is part of the Salvation Army Centre for Addiction Services and Research (SACASR) and the Scottish Centre for Crime and Justice Research (SCCJR). She has a MSc in Health Psychology, and her PhD was development of a realist-informed framework for greenspace programmes for people with poor mental health and problem substance use. Her research interests include substance use, harm reduction, mental health, health inequalities, the health benefits of greenspace, particularly nature-based programmes and green social prescribing.
