Biography
Emily is a 5th year medical student, currently intercalating in Psychology and Medicine at Cardiff University. She has a budding interest in research, and has been involved with evaluating the impact of injectable Long Acting Buprenorphine (LAB- Buvidal) in Cardiff over the past two years.
She is also passionate about promoting wellbeing in regards to risk taking behaviours in young people; she is National Branches Director for Sexpression, a charitable organisation that delivers Relationships and Sexual Health Education in schools across the country, and Wellbeing and Outreach Officer for Drug Science: Cardiff.
She hopes to secure an academic foundation post, with further studies in Psychological Medicine firmly on the horizon.
