Mr Oliver Emmerson
Biography
Oliver Emmerson was educated in his hometown of Matlock, Derbyshire. He is now a fourth year medical student at the University of Birmingham. Between his third and fourth years of study, Oliver completed an intercalated BMedSci degree in Psychological Medicine whilst investigating the impact of prolonged employment upon those recovering from and receiving treatment for opiate addiction. This was achieved within the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with the University of Birmingham.
Oliver has interests in the areas of qualitative addiction research as well as in palliative and primary care.
