Ms Dimitra Kale

Biography

I am a graduate in Psychology from Brunel University of London and I have completed an MSc in Health Psychology at King’s College London and University College London. I am currently a 2nd year PhD student at Goldsmiths University of London under the supervision of Dr Andrew Cooper and Prof Alan Pickering. The PhD is examining the role of impulsivity-related traits with cigarette smoking, nicotine dependence, cravings and e-cigarette use. Before commencing the PhD, I was involved in a large randomised control study aiming to increase the uptake of smoking cessation services using Personal Targeted risk information and Taster Sessions (Start2quit) in the Department of Primary Care and Population Health of University College London.
