Biography
Lisa completed her undergraduate degree in Applied Psychology at the University College Cork, Ireland in 2009. Following completion of her degree, she undertook a 6 month postgraduate work placement programme at the Drug Treatment Centre Board in Dublin, where she assisted Dr Bobby Smyth and Kevin Ducray with research into the area of adolescent heroin addiction. Lisa’s interests include addiction, HIV/AIDS and their relationship with mental health problems. Currently undertaking a Masters in Foundations of Clinical Psychology in the University of Wales, Bangor, Lisa plans on pursuing research in the above domains of interest. She hopes to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the future.
