Biography

Sarah Thurgood graduated from The University of Central Lancashire in 2005 with a BSc degree in Forensic Psychology.  She took a gap year to travel the world before relocating to London, where she worked as Assistant Manager of a Psychiatric Hostel for several years. While in London, she completed NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Diploma Level 3 in Reflexology.  Sarah moved back to Yorkshire to pursue further study and completed an MSc Health Psychology at The University of Central Lancashire in 2011.  Sarah now works as a Researcher at the Leeds Addiction Unit where her current work includes a mixed methods project investigating service user’s views of addiction outcome measures.
