PhD researcher
Sofia is a PhD researcher from the Department of Addictions at King’s College London. Her PhD focuses on psychosocial interventions to reduce harm in acute liver disease, by assessing the feasibility of contingency management to incentivise treatment adherence in this clinical population. She is funded by the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration under the alcohol research theme.
Sofia has a background in Neuroscience, completing her BSc in 2019 at Queen Mary University of London. She then joined the MSc Addiction Studies at King’s College London, graduating in 2020. Her areas of interest include behaviour change, mental health, psychosocial interventions and health inequalities.
