Senior Research Fellow

Senior Research Fellow in Addictions at the National Addiction Centre (King’s College London) and Senior Advisor at the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Research Design Service (RDS), London. Background in psychology and received her PhD from Imperial College London examining influences on the prescribing of heroin for the treatment of opiate dependence in the UK. She has 20 years in addiction research undertaking clinical RCTS in pharmacological and psychological interventions for opiate dependence including evaluating supervised injectable opiate treatment for hard to treat heroin users (RIOTT). Received a European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) Scientific Paper award and the King’s Award for Research Project of the Year.  Has over 30 publications including many on heroin prescribing treatment.
