Are you a policymaker, practitioner, or researcher? Do you have at least 12 months’ experience in the addiction field, or do you have academic or professional qualifications in the subject of addiction? Apply to become a member of the SSA and receive benefits including access to our journals, funding schemes, and reduced-rate attendance at our Annual Conference.
To apply for membership, please complete and submit the following form. We will write to confirm your application has been formally accepted (usually within a few days).
You are welcome to set up a Direct Debit to automate the payment each year. To do so, please print off, complete and return this form by post (UK bank account required.)

- Acceptance as a member of the Society for the Study of Addiction is not a professional endorsement or validation, and we do not give permission to cite SSA membership on personal profiles for this purpose.
- It is a condition of membership that we record each member’s home address.
