COVID-19: Treatment staff defined as key workers

People who work in drug and alcohol treatment centres are included in the government’s definition of key workers. This means that their children are still (as of 23 March 2020) allowed to attend school if they cannot be safely looked after at home. This interpretation of the guidance has been confirmed by Public Health England (PHE).

Collective Voice have designed a template letter for services to give to staff that confirms their key working status.
