Miss Jasmine Warren
Jasmine Warren is in her first year of a part-time research PhD in Psychological Sciences at the University of Liverpool (UoL). Jasmine holds a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology from UoL. Her PhD research is investigating how the menstrual cycle affects alcohol use and mood utilising a variety of methodologies. The interest to study this topic developed during Jasmine’s Undergraduate learning of addiction and behavioural neuroscience, which also covered the behavioural shifts of the menstrual cycle. Jasmine is a post-graduate teaching assistant, which along with the John Lennon Memorial Scholarship, funds her PhD. Following the PhD, Jasmine aims to continue conducting academic research to highlight the importance of sex-specific issues, and the implications of these for health and policy makers.
